Neal Martin
The 2011 Beaune Clos des Mouches 1er Cru Blanc has a lively, quite effervescent bouquet with lime flower, mirabelle and subtle granitic scents; this actually feels younger than its 11 years of age. The palate is just as vivacious with lovely poise. A subtle creaminess develops towards its harmonious finish. This is drinking perfectly now. Tasted at a private dinner in Burgundy. 92 points
