2011 Fratelli Alessandria Barolo Monvigliero
Secondary Description
Although the nose of this is beautifully floral and perfumed, it is the texture that really stands out. The tannins are fine-grained and the weight and mouthfeel combine superbly with the aromas in the mouth. As a package this is already complete. Already very attractive, this will be super drinkable on arrival and until 2030. (CW 21/04/15)

Antonio Galloni
Sweet red cherries, plums, menthol, smoke, tobacco, mint and licorice are some of the notes that meld together in the 2011 Barolo Monvigliero. Sensual, layered and creamy on the palate, the 2011 speaks to balance above all else. Ripe, silky tannins add to an overall impression of finesse. It`s hard to say much else, except that the 2011 hits all the right notes. What a gorgeous wine this is. 96 points
