Tasted two different samples of this. One, very flashy from a new oak barrel, a little too much make-up as Christian observed. The second, from an old barrel was prettier, fruitier, better balanced, but very ripe - almost a touch of sur maturite with a bit of liquorice. Nicely long though. (CW 03/11/10)
