Light, bright red. Racy aromas of redcurrant, tea leaf, liquorice and orange peel. Bright and juicy in the mouth, with penetrating flavours of fresh red berries, sour red cherry and liquorice showing impressive depth and striking purity. Puts on weight in the glass and finishes with repeating floral tones. Very well done; I could be wrong, but this appears to be an estate to watch in Montalcino. 91+ points Colleoni remains one of the most exciting new entries to the firmament of traditionally made wines in Montalcino. 90 points
