Miles Mossop obtained a degree in geology and geochemisty in 1995, then a degree in viticulture and oenology in 1998. He is one of the many successful winemakers to have worked as a student at Charles Back`s Spice Route (Eben Sadie is another); followed by stints at Thelema with Gyles Webb and vintages in Australia, Italy and France. In 2000 he joined Tokara, where he remained until he departed to work exclusively on his own projects in 2018. He has been making wines under his own label since 2004, marked by his signature blend of beautiful fruit concentration with elegant finesse. (JH 18/02/22)
