The MV Brut Rose blends 54% Pinot Noir, 41% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Meunier, spending 39 months on lees. The base wines are 85% from the 2020 vintage, with the remaining 15% from 2019. While pale, the pink color has some depth. Candied Morello cherry is fleeting on the nose but sets an aromatic tone that continues with rosehip and beautifully salt-crusted redcurrant. The palate is concentrated and has quite a vinous vibe, speaking of that 2020 ripeness, with a generous fill on a contoured, svelte body. Lovely now, this wine is sure to evolve. 92 points
