Jane Anson

This is very clearly in the spirit of the vintage but manages to deliver depth and succulence, good balance, leafy blackcurrant and raspberry character, saffron and black pepper and freshly cut herbs. Harvest September 8 to 23. 40% new oak. 23 hl/ha. Yield 22 hl/ha 94 points

Yohan Castaing

Introverted and reserved at the time of tasting, the 2025 Marquis de Terme reveals aromas of lead pencil, spice and oak that emerge with air. Medium- to full-bodied, dense and firm, it’s built around a structured core of fruit framed by an assertive tannic chassis, concluding with a somber, licorice- and oak-inflected finish. This is a powerful, rather inward-looking wine at this stage. 88-90 points

Antonio Galloni

The 2025 Marquis de Terme is terrific, not to mention one of the finest wines I have tasted here. Rich, ample and explosive, the 2025 has so much to offer, starting with its impressive textural depth. Blackberry, gravel, dark spice and licorice add a palpable dimension of somber intensity, while Floral overtones perk up the close. This is seriously impressive. Tasted three times. 94-96 points

The 2025 Marquis de Terme was picked September 8 to 23 and aged in 40% new oak. It has a commendably pure redcurrant and raspberry-scented nose, hints of rose petal and violet emerging with time in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip. Firm backbone, sapid, with a prickle of white pepper towards the finish. This is a Marquis de Terme with a bit more substance than usual and it should age better than other vintages. A second sample was even better than the first, with a gorgeous finish that reminded me of Palmer! 93-95 points
