The 2025 Mangot is a soft, open-knit Saint-Emilion. Floral and silky, with gorgeous mid-palate structure, the 2025 is one of the most restrained Saint-Emilions of the vintage. Rose petal, lavender, mint, blood orange and pomegranate are some of the many notes that grace this exquisite red. Tasted two times. 91-93 points

William Kelley

Aromas of dark berries, cherries and plums, mingled with subtle hints of licorice and violet, introduce the 2025 Chateau Mangot, a medium- to full-bodied, layered and velvety wine that`s intensely flavored, vibrant and penetrating. Mangot has enjoyed a formidable run in recent years, but the 2025 gives every indication of ranking alongside the 2022 as the estate`s best to date. It`s a blend of 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. 93-95 points

Neal Martin

The 2025 Mangot has a pretty nose with blackcurrant, mulberry and light scents of inkwell that seem to grow in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied, with grainy tannins, quite structured, sapid, though there is some hardness towards the finish that will hopefully soften by the time of bottling. I was a bit disappointed with this after the very decent `24. 88-90 points
