Antonio Galloni

The 2025 Gazin is a fabulous wine. It`s deep, rich and powerful but also wonderfully layered in the glass, with real finesse and tons of nuance. Dark red-toned fruit, lavender, mocha, spice and licorice open beautifully. The 2025 impresses with its captivating energy, finely sketched details and sublime balance. Magnificent. Tasted two times 94-96 points

William Kelley

A blend of 87% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc, the 2025 Gazin unfurls in the glass with notes of plums, dark berries and violets. Medium- to full-bodied, rich and layered, with a dense core of fruit framed by plenty of sweet, powdery tannin, it concludes with a long, youthfully structured finish. 91-93 points

Neal Martin

The 2025 Gazin was picked between August 28 and September 10 and aged in 40% new oak. It has a perfumed nose, well defined, with touches of oyster shell emerging with time and combining with the black fruit, remaining quite classical and old school in style. The palate is medium-bodied with ample weight. Rounded and pliant tannins, hints of truffle towards the finish, which just needs a little more grip. This will be one of the more approachable vintages from this Pomerol stalwart. 90-92 points

Jane Anson

Intense, dark berry fruits, an old school Pomerol, austere and strict at this early stage, with high tannic count that slowly builds through the palate. Definitely in the Left Bank style of Gazin, needs time to soften. Tasted twice. 93 points
