The 2025 Chateau d`Aiguilhe was picked from September 6 to 22 and matured in 20% new oak. This seems a bit reticent on the nose, needs more fruit, more vigour. That will come with time. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chalky tannins, but it coheres very nicely on the mid-palate. Linear in style, very sapid, with moderate length, this often sells for a reasonable price and it should drink well for a decade. 89-91 points
