The 2025 Clos L`Eglise is a potent, brooding Pomerol. Broad swaths of tannin enshroud a core of intense dark fruit, leather, chocolate, licorice and espresso. Yields were just 19 hectoliters per hectare. That concentration of fruit and tannin lends the 2025 tremendous textural intensity, but also makes the tannins a bit tough. Élevage will be essential here. 92-94 points
