The 2025 Beauregard is quite promising, with plenty of substance and power. Dark-toned fruit, spice, new leather, mocha, chocolate and lavender open first. Bright acids and beams of supporting tannin convey energy and a good bit of structure. This is a superb, refined Beauregard with a bright future. 92-95 points

Depth and power to the colour, delicious peony floral aromatics that need time in the glass to unroll and curl upwards alongside cool blue fruit and a gunpowder smoke. Fairly austere at this earn stage, reflective on the high Cabernet in the blend. 3.65 pH. 23 hl/ha. 40% new oak, Olivier Boissiere consultant in the vineyards only. Lauren Laudrin first full year as director. 93 points
