2023 Yannick Amirault Bourgueil Cote 50

A lovely, lifted expression of Loire Cabernet Franc from sandy Bourgeuil soils. It has a short elevage in foudre, for a soft, early-maturing style. Pomegranate, tomato leaf, graphite and some earthy notes lead to fresh, crunchy, celery-salt finish. No need to decant this one, it`s a delight straight from the bottle. It`s also one of those reds that benefits from a gentle chilling. (NT 27/09/24)
