South-east facing, close to Renardes and Bressandes, on red clay, the Rognet vineyard tends to generosity over austerity. The domaine’s vines here are around 45 years old. The ample bouquet touches on cherry and plum, thyme and fig. The fruit seems ripe (but not overripe) and the wine is composed in the mouth, elegant and long. (NT 09/12/24)
