The 2023 La Garde has a pleasant nose with blackberry, cedar and light sous-bois scents, just a touch of pencil box emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, quite dry and austere, needing more flesh and fruit to balance out the finish. 86 points
