The 2023 Morey-Saint-Denis En La Rue de Vergy, which includes 20% whole bunch, has a more extrovert bouquet with kirsch and blood orange scents infusing the red fruit notes. The palate is ripe and sweet on the entry, with hints of candied orange peel, red cherries and a touch of spice. It has fine length, it`s just missing a bit of nobility like Felettig`s other cuvées. Drink it over six to ten years. 89-91 points

Picked late with 30% whole bunch vinification. A fuller ruby purple, this has more substance than many a Rue de Vergy in 2023. The later harvest aspect shows in a dark raspberry fruit with a little chocolate, all this with the hillside bones below. 90-92 points
