Charles has been interpalnting young vines to try to restore this very old vineyard to health. Just two barrels made. A denser purple, a touch horsy on the nose. Massively exuberant, with a dry finish, nutty notes and a thick texture, with a cleaner finish than the nose suggested. 88-91 points
