The pale, ethereal and subtle 2023 Les Aubaguetes had a special perfume and comes through as the most elegant of the wines from 2023. This is very promising, with the potential to be the finest vintage of this exceptional vineyard from the village of Bellmunt del Priorat, a place that is different from most of the other vineyards in the village of Gratallops. This is always pale, silky, fresher, from a more humid place, a north-facing vineyard. There will be only around 1,200 bottles (compared with the 3,200 bottles in 2022) that should be bottled around May 2025. 96-99 points
