Anthony Mueller
The 2022 Seadragon Pinot Noir exudes an elegant profile with a cherry-driven bouquet complemented by mineral and dusty floral notes. This wine showcases a graceful balance of tannins and acidity, giving it a structured edge. The phenolics on the palate harmonize with a balanced, warm fruit profile that transitions into a ripe red-fruit finish. This Pinot Noir is more generous in style, offering a broader appeal. Matured for 11 months in Burgundy barriques with 33% new oak, the production was limited to just 1,558 bottles, making each one a special addition to any collection. 93+ points

First made in 2011, Seadragon has quietly established itself as one of the New World`s best Pinot Noirs. Sourced from a warmer, north-facing parcel of the 113 clone on deeper clay solils, it`s a textured, supple, very complete Pinot Noir, showing notes of tobacco leaf, white pepper, raspberry and wild strawberry and a neat, refreshing finish. 2024-32 96 points

Super-pale and cumin spiced and warm-throated thrush-song-sweet fruit. Embracingly friendly and ready and generous. Brushed-velvet tannins. 16.5 points
