Pale in colour, not much nose, a thicker, almost oily texture, again a touch of liquorice, this time with good acidity and certainly some length. Drink from 2026-2030. 87-89 points

The 2022 Meursault Village comes from a blend of three vineyards located just below Santenots-du-Milieu, aged in used oak barrels and racked at the end of August, to be bottled next spring. It has a well-defined bouquet with crushed stone and hazelnut scents infusing the orchard fruit. The palate is fresh on the entry with a touch of white pepper mixed with orange rind, dovetailing into a lively, slightly menthol-tinged finish. Kind of a `fun` Meursault. 89-91 points

Aromas of sweet flowers, almond paste and buttered pears preface the 2022 Meursault Village, a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy wine that`s rich and generous. 88-90 points
