Attractive mid crimson purple. A little more reserved on the nose yet with swelling fruit across the palate, a little fresh pepper at the finish which just enlivens the wine and adds a mineral touch. 87-89 points

The 2022 Bourgogne Rouge has an attractive nose with blackberry and wild strawberry fruit - more cohesive than the Coteaux Bourguignon. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, black fruit, and fine cohesion towards the finish that will be filled out by the addition of the new oak in the final blend. 85-87 points
