Eric Guido
The 2021 Rosso di Montalcino is smoky in the glass, smoldering up with a blend of wild herbs, crushed stone and dried black cherries. This comes to life on the palate, energetic and mineral-intense, with juicy acidity motivating its ripe wild berry fruits. It finishes spicy and long while maintaining its spry character. A gentle coating of tannins punctuates the experience quite nicely. There`s depth but also energy here that is seldom seen from 2021 Rossos. 92 points
