The 2021 Moulin-a-Vent Vieilles Vignes has a light black cherry and cassis scented bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with fleshy tannins, but it just lacks a bit of weight in the middle and amplitude on the finish. 89 points

Racked to tank in late September. Mid purple colour, a certain energy, then a straw aspect to the nose, otherwise quite typical gamay. Strawberry fruit, slighter than usual but has retained purity with good acidity. Honourable result. Drink from 2024-2026. 87-88 points
