The 2021 Sauvignon Dark Label is wickedly spicy, boasting a complex blend of ground ginger, lemon zest, incense and sage. Silky in feel yet almost salty in nature, it`s perfumed and zesty within, with citrus-kissed orchard fruits and a pepper note toward the close. The 2021 finishes savory and long with a vivid note of Granny Smith apple that lingers on and on. The Sauvignon benefitted greatly from the extended harvest in 2021, spending two weeks longer on the vine than usual. Wow. 94 points
