Fresh and vivacious, the first impression here is a rush of lime and bay notes. Quinta Apolonia is a young vine cuvee given a little lees-stirring and a short stay in older oak barrels, which brings focus to the sheer natural energy of Verdejo. The crisp attack is followed by a certain creamy weight on the mid-palate, then a renewed jolt of energy on the finish. Lovely - this cries out to me for a plate of white fish. (NT 12/08/22)
