Jane Anson
Gentle coffee smoke on the nose and spiced waves of flavour that add interest and complexity. This is a good wine with gentle acidities and enough autumnal berry fruit to carry it off. Juicy on the finish, this is another successful vintage at Sénéjac. 91 points

The 2020 Sénéjac has a strong marine/seaweed nose that takes time to settle in the glass. Touches of black olive emerge with time, nicely defined and full of personality. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, quite edgy tannins on the entry, and graphite-infused black fruit dominates. Earthy and classic in style toward the conclusion. This is a decent, traditional Haut-Médoc, though it needs to fill out on the finish. 87-89 points

Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2020 Senejac features notes of sour cherries, raspberry leaves and redcurrants with a waft of tobacco leaf. The medium-bodied palate is crunchy and refreshing, delivering red berry and herbal flavors with a chewy texture and short, uncomplicated finish. 84-86 points
