The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts 1er Cru showed just a touch of reduction on the nose, although there is clearly some wonderful vibrant fruit here. The palate is well balanced, quite refined in style, one of Jadot’s more understated white ‘20s with (again) some new oak to be subsumed on the finish. Very fine. Closure: Diam 90-92 points
Jasper Morris
This is very substantial on the nose. The oak is quite prominent too, at least in this sample. There is significant weight on the palate too, but in a sumptuous rather than heavy style. Fills out the back too with light acidity as well. 91-94 points
