2020 Louis Jadot Meursault Charmes
Secondary Description
Classically proportioned Meursault, pretty and complex, this opens with notes of yellow plum, lemon and blossom. In the mouth it is intense and dashing, with a real saline cut, and a persistent finish. (NT 11/01/22)

The 2020 Meursault Les Charmes 1er Cru was showing a bit of reduction on the nose that made it difficult to read. The palate more expressive with a fine bead of acidity, lightly spiced citrus fruit laced with dessicated orange peel and stem ginger, the finish quite spicy and satisfying. Give this 4-5 years in bottle. Closure: Diam 90-92 points

A slightly fuller yellow, plumper, some vanilla, offering the expected Charmes amplitude, rounded, with pear and peach notes, not over exotic but a full mouthful nonetheless. 91-93 points
