The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Aux Brûlées 1er Cru offers dark berry fruit on the nose, touches of pressed iris petals, flint and light truffle aromas. A little surly at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, fine balance, gentle build in the mouth with a precise, quite saline finish. Very fine mineralite here, this is a superb Aux Brûlées. 93-95 points
