Neal Martin
The 2020 Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru is quite taut at first, responds to aeration to reveal brambly black fruit, rose petal and light tea leaf aromas. Pretty, delicate and refined. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy red fruit, fresh and vibrant, very focused with a precise, saline finish that gets the saliva flowing. This might lack vineyard designation, but it delivers where it matters - in the glass. 91-93 points
