The 2020 Bourgogne Roncevie is very high-toned on the nose with cassis and maraschino scents, quite floral but missing a little delineation. The palate is ripe and sweet on the entry, fine acidity, well balanced with a crisp if short black cherry finish. A straight to the point Bourgogne Rouge. 85-87 Points

Just racked to tank. A rich heady purple. This is much deeper and richer in dark cherry mode than the Hautes Cotes de Nuits. Very striking, with a pleasing freshness at the back. Cheerful, exuberant, juicy with a drier note from good tannins. The fruit comes storming back behind, exceptionally long, morello cherry with a thread of more mineral red fruit. 88-90 points (5-star wine)
