Deeply fruited bilberry and blackberry, you really get the autumnal hedgerow vibe - well ripened but still with juice. I like this a lot, has character and bite, although the finish is a little spiky. 91 points

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2020 D`Angludet comes skipping out of the glass with cheery, upfront scents of baked blueberries, stewed plums and redcurrant jelly, plus wafts of chocolate box and potpourri. The medium-bodied palate is juicy and refreshing, offering soft tannins and a satisfyingly fruity finish. 89-91 points

Deepest crimson with smudgy rim. Lively, fresh aroma with the fruit not the oak to the fore. Cassis, blackberry and some red-plum sweetness, which comes through on the palate. Not particularly intense but harmonious, with finely layered dry tannins. Definitely one of the more approachable and digestible Margaux 2020s I have tasted. Hint of chocolate on the finish. 16 points

(46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 12% Petit Verdot; 13.5% ABV; 30% new, 30% in `amphorae`) Lovely blackberry-ripe nose, florally fragrant and Petit Verdot-spicy; full and fresh and finely tannic, a very elegant balance; gently packed with juicily sweet fruit, a delicious impression of fruit mass and “matter,” long, close-grained, and mineral; a great sense of completeness and with fine fruit persistence. After much experimentation, Ben Sichel is now putting 30% of the wine into Italian clay `amphorae` for aging: gentle oxidation without the aromas or textures of wood—and it seems to have made for a particular richness and purity of fruit in the 2020. A really beautiful Angludet, right up with its 2019, in a slightly more classical style. Drink 2026–40+. 91–92+ points
