2019 Stodden Spatburgunder Recher

Lean, red-fruited, delicately spiced aromas, cranberry and dried herbs. The palate is framed by neat, ripe tannin; precise, tangy red fruit with darker overtones, quite serious and promising. Excellent German Pinot Noir in a very typical style, savoury and restrained yet with excellent intensity and complexity. (JH 03/10/24)
