Aromatically open and fleshy, the Merlot to the fore. Some floral notes behind. Palate round and appealing (Merlot again) then tightens to give freshness and drive, the Cabernet taking over on the finish. Caressing texture and tannins. Clean and digeste. A tiny step towards the grand vin. 17 points
