The 2019 Moulin-Riche is very composed on the nose, black fruit, tobacco, cedar and a touch of rooibos emerging with time. The oak is neatly subsumed. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-boned tannins, well balanced, quite fresh and displaying more finesse than the Pavillon de Poyferré on the finish. Lovely. Tasted blind at the Southwold annual tasting. 90 points
