Lovely rich plum colour, firm tannins, a little tight on the finish but this is still good quality, with a crushed mint leaf feel on the finish along with cassis fruits and cedar - all classic Medoc markers. No need to wait too long. An enjoyable Tour de By. 90 points

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 La Tour de By displays enticing scents of wild blueberries, black raspberries and cassis plus hints of dried lavender, dark chocolate and stewed tea. Medium-bodied, the palate is refreshing and well-balanced with a slightly chewiness to the texture and a bright, fruity finish. 87-89 points

The 2019 La Tour de By has a fine bouquet with lifted blackberry and briary scents, hints of cedar and graphite, fresh and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, well judged acidity, very harmonious with a classic, graphite-tinged finish. The first bottle is impressive, though the second and third lack a bit of cohesion and feel attenuated by comparison, hence my question mark. 87-89? points
