2019 Greystone Organic Chardonnay (Waipara)

A creamy, almost plush Chardonnay offering peach kernel, oatmeal and barrique-derived toasty flavors. Hailing from a warm season with warm nights, this ripe and round organic Chardonnay has lovely purity of fruit and a delicate phenolic note that provides structure on the finish. While the ripe fruit and toasty flavors linger long, it lacks a little bit of momentum due to lower-than-normal acid levels. 91 points
