We move back to the 2019 vintage here; this cuvée is sourced from the lieu-dit of La Noue, a special selection treated to a longer élevage, lasting 30 months. It will be bottled in spring 2022. The nose is delightful, bursting with sweet black fruits, with some wild notes, floral with rose petals and black tea, with a touch of currant. It is clearly concentrated, and the palate is no less remarkable than the aromatics, being softly polished, concentrated, with dark and well-defined fruits. It has fine acidity too, keeping it cleanly defined well into the dense, focused finish. One of the better red Sancerres I have tasted in recent years. 92 points
