The 2019 Chardonnay Charles Heintz Vineyard is a classic wine from this site. Rich, creamy and layered, the Heintz has that oily texture that is such a signature here. Apricot, tangerine oil, mint, spice and brown butter lend notable complexity. Exotic tropical overtones compensate brighter saline nuances that lend tension to balance some of the more overt qualities that come so naturally. 94 points
