On the nose there’s lime zest and peach nectar. It has a fine texture, with a touch of grip but not tannic. More creamy citrus zest on the palate with a bit of mandarine and the stonefruit. There is complexity, energy and drive. Minerality on the finish. In fact it`s really the energy and the length that are the most striking elements here. Very impressive, vivid wine indeed. The extended skin contact gives a feeling of oak ageing, but there hasn’t been any. It is a very complete wine. (CW 18/10/20)

Antonio Galloni
The 2018 Timorasso Derthona is a dense, opulent wine. Orange confit, pineapple, spice, dried flowers, chamomile and honey and strong petrol notes all build in this decidedly large-scaled white. Creamy and resonant, the 2018 is a total knock-out. 94 points
