2018 Sigaut Chambolle-Musigny Sentiers

Moderately generous wood can be found on the otherwise ripe and well-layered aromas of dark cherry, raspberry, spice and discreet earth nuances. The very rich and full-bodied and powerful larger-scaled flavors are admirably concentrated before terminating in a firmly extracted and slightly raspy if impressively long finale. This is more Morey than Chambolle in 2018 and a wine that will need at least some forbearance. 90-93 points
