2018 Marc Colin Bourgogne Chardonnay
Secondary Description
From 3 parcels, one in Puligny, one in Chassagne and one in St-Aubin. So much depth and interest at its level. Bags of energy, and lemon and lime fruit. A buttery mid-palate, a hint of wood, a finish that leaves me with an impression of corn and tortilla chips. Lots of flavour on a vibrant structure. (NT 09/01/20)

Fine lemon and lime, three plots from the three villages. Very attractive fresh fruit, juicy and racy, good texture, good tension. Long finish for a Bourgogne Blanc. 87 points

The 2018 Bourgogne Chardonnay comes from three different terroirs in Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. It has an ample bouquet with touches of tropical fruit thanks to the warmth of the summer. The palate is fresh on the entry with crisp acidity, hints of orange peel and even a touch of spice emerging with time. This is well balanced, quite forward and generous, with a slightly toasty, but not toasted, finish. Fine. 87-89 points

Bursting with aromas of honeyed pears and white flowers, the 2018 Bourgogne Chardonnay is medium to full-bodied, lively and pliant, with an open and expressive core of succulent fruit. As usual, it`s derived from vines in the communes of Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin. 87 points
