The 2018 Chablis Vosgros 1er Cru has a modest, rather understated bouquet that takes time to open in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a slightly peachy/pithy opening, orchard fruit mixed with lemon rind and a touch of spice. Good use of extract here, though I would be tempted to broach this in the near future rather than for long-term cellaring. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 white tasting. 89 points
