The 2018 Chablis Montée de Tonnerre 1er Cru has a pretty peach and tangerine-scented nose, though not quite as complex as Pinson`s take on the same vineyard. The palate is slightly viscous on the entry, maybe these grapes were later picked, rather honeyed with a welcome countervailing sour lemon note on the finish. This has potential. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 white tasting. 90 points
