Higher yields after two years of frost. Lively pale lemon, good fresh apple nose. Very happy with the balance of this, fresh aromatics, Olivier’s theory about sun on the white skins. Really lovely lingering finish. 88-91 points

The 2018 Saint-Aubin La Princée comes from ten separate parcels and at the time of my visit it felt a little reduced on the nose. The promising palate offers pineapple and green apple notes, nice weight in the mouth and a bright, smooth-textured finish. Fine. 87-89 points

The 2018 Saint-Aubin La Princée is showing well, opening in the glass with aromas of citrus zest, white flowers and crisp Anjou pear. Medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural and precise, it`s saline and incisive, Lamy observing that some two-thirds of this parcel is decidedly cool and windy. 89-91 points

Pretty austere for the moment on the nose but with lots of interest and charm underneath. Very youthful though. 16 points
