Monica Larner
An ample 25,000-bottle release, the 2018 Barolo Camilla represents a blend of fruit from Raviole and Borzone (in Grinzane Cavour), Roere di Santa Maria (in La Morra), San Lorenzo di Verduno (in Verduno), Bricco Ambrogio (in Roddi) and lastly from Badarina (in Serralunga d`Alba). This is an ambitious, all-encompassing blend that is especially accessible in 2018. It offers a harmonious bouquet with wild berry and rose. The tannins are soft and yielding, and you can start enjoying this Barolo without waiting too much longer. 91 points

Balsamic aromas of menthol mingle with dark spice, underbrush and blue flower. The full-bodied palate offers cherry marinated in spirits, licorice and a hint of coffee bean alongside taut, close-grained tannins that grip the close. 91 points
