The 2018 Belondrade y Lurton Quinta Apolonia is much lighter, fresher and more herbaceous than the Rueda. The palate is focussed and extremely clean, with lots of intense citrus. A subtle note of bitter lemon rind lingers on the palate and the finish is very long. This is a delicious, uplifting wine that works brilliantly as an aperitif but also pairs well with a wide variety of lighter dishes. (27/08/20 RRS)

The clean, aromatic and elegant 2018 Quinta Apolonia smelled of freshly cut hay and grass and had a very intense, clean and focused palate with great freshness, precision and length. It`s varietal and comes through as a great example of the potential of the grape and the place. Delicious, one of the best Quinta Apolonia that I can remember. 54,348 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2019. 91 points
