Stephan Reinhardt
The 2017 Zind contains more Auxerrois than the 2016 (35% instead of 18%) and even a bit of Pinot Blanc complementing the dominant Chardonnay. Tasted from the vat in October 2018, this is very aromatic and juicy Vin de France from pure Muschelkalk soils in the Clos Windsbuhl. This has refreshing acidity and a lot of sexy charm. Very delicate and fresh, just gorgeous. Vinified in large oak. 90-91 points
