The soil here is clay on top of a little plateau. It has fabulous structure and energy; very mineral and fresh and has a lovely jucy fruit character underpinned by a little oak. Good texture, zippy acidity and it`s long. (CW 9/11/18)

Scents of minty pear and spices mingling with notions of honeycomb and yellow apple in an inviting melange introduce the 2017 Rully 1er Cru Meix Cadot. It`s a medium to full-bodied, supple and expansive white with an ample core of succulent fruit, underpinned by tangy acids and concluding with a precise, saline finish. This bottling hails from vines planted in 1980. 92 points
