These vines sit on clay and were planted in 1959 and sit in clay. It`s mineral and has lots of fruit and depth and is rich. Juicy again, lots of energy from that mineral complexity. It`s a classic 2017 white Burgundy. When even Puligny is this impressive, you know you`re on a winner. (CW 9/11/18)

Notes of white flowers, blanched almonds and crisp orchard fruit mingling with nuances of iodine and mandarin orange introduce the 2017 Puligny-Montrachet Corvée des Vignes, a medium to full-bodied, concentrated and tensile wine with a satiny attack, excellent depth at the tight-knit core, racy acids and a long, precise and delicately chalky finish. It`s one of the finest examples of the appellation that one can find. 92 points
